Seagull Shoplifter

So, this bird walks into a store…….
A seagull in Scotland has developed the habit of stealing chips from a neighborhood shop.
The seagull waits until the shopkeeper isn’t looking, and then walks into the store and grabs a snack-size bag of cheese Doritos.
Once outside, the bag gets ripped open and shared by other birds.
The seagull’s shoplifting started early this month when he first swooped into the store in Aberdeen, Scotland, and helped himself to a bag of chips. Since then, he’s become a regular. He always takes the same type of chips.
Customers have begun paying for the seagull’s stolen bags of chips because they think it’s so funny. For the rest of the story: BBC SHOPLIFTING SEAGULL

That is sooooo funny. I guess it’s not stealing as long as the chips are paid for, right?

You posted it! I checked out YouTube and they have some videos, but most of them weren’t so clear. They call him Sam the Seagull, if I remember correctly. It’s also much more fun on the loop. One of those clips you can giggle about again and again.

I think they should experiment with him–move his favorite chips over and see if he grabs the new kind of chips in their place or if he knows the difference and goes for his favorite Dortitos.

It would be a worthwhile study in bird behavior. The bird is probably smarter than John “F” Kerry, Jack “Pork Barrel” Murtha, and John “Breck Girl” Edwards combined.
